3 Things I Learned From Carpet Cleaners Last Year…

Hey Cleaning Pros,

We talked with carpet cleaners from across the United States last year… Some of them were struggling to get started, but some of them were consistently knocking it out of the park.

There are only a few key differences between the carpet cleaners who are succeeding and the ones who are stalling out. It became clear to us as we talked to more and more cleaners last year…

Here’s a quick rundown of what we learned:

Video Highlights:

  • 0:25 A little hustle goes a long way. One of the most common themes we heard from successful carpet cleaners is that they are always hustling to find new clients and build relationships. They understand that in order to grow their business, they need to be proactive and take advantage of every opportunity that comes their way. Whether it’s networking events, door-to-door sales, or online advertising, these cleaners are always looking for ways to get their name out there.
  • 1:55 Responsiveness matters, so respond to leads quickly. Another important takeaway from our conversations is the importance of being responsive to leads. As a carpet cleaner, you need to be able to respond to potential clients quickly and efficiently. Whether it’s a phone call or an email inquiry, the faster you can respond to a lead, the more likely they are to choose your business. So, make sure to have a system in place to manage and respond to leads in a timely manner.
  • 3:27 You need to put a marketing plan in place right away and stick with it consistently. Lastly, we learned that the most successful carpet cleaners have a clear marketing plan in place and they stick to it consistently. This means having a clear understanding of your target audience, identifying the best channels to reach them, and developing a content strategy that resonates with them. By having a plan in place, you’ll be better equipped to make informed decisions about where to focus your marketing efforts and how to allocate your budget.

Overall, we hope that these insights will help you grow your carpet cleaning business and achieve the level of success you’re looking for. Remember, a little hustle goes a long way, responsiveness matters, and having a marketing plan in place is essential.
